Summary: A 227kg black bear consumes a significant amount of cocaine and embarks on a drug-fuelled rampage through a Georgia forest, endangering the lives of cops, criminals, tourists and teenagers.
Plot Twist?
not really a twist but the bear has cubs and was all exposed to the cocaine actin furiously
Ending:
We find Cocaine Bear and her cubs alive and well, still feral from the cocaine. Considering Cocaine Bear doesn't die, Elizabeth Banks cleverly sets up a sequel for more forest shenanigans, and the ending suggests the animal will go on to kill even more people.
Notes - Thoughts
This movie was for sure a horror comedy and a very well done! Sometimes horror-comedy movies doesn't execute the way they expect it to or end up just labeling it completely wrong. Cocaine bear had it all, the kills were gruesome and crazy, yet hilarious remarks and dialuge throughout the characters. This was also based off the true story of drug deal gone wrong and black bear in the woods overdosed off the drug.
