Knock at the Cabin

 Length: 100 minutes Genres: horror ~ thriller ~ mystery-suspense

Summary: While vacationing at a remote cabin in the woods, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand they make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. Confused, scared and with limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.

Plot Twist?

In the end, it would have been revealed that the apocalypse was a hoax. But Knock at the Cabin didn't take that route. The big twist of this Shyamalan movie is that there is no twist: the world actually nearly ends.

Ending:

Utterly devastated, Andrew and Eric escape the cabin together, carrying their daughter's body along in the midst of a terrible thunderstorm that may or may not be the sign of the apocalypse. The fate of the characters — and the world — is left open-ended, allowing the reader to draw their own conclusions.

Notes - Thoughts

Leonard’s team each represented the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse — at least according to Eric. Leonard was Guidance, Sabrina was Healing, Adriane was Nurture, and Redmond was Malice. It’s suggested they were all having a shared delusion, seeing the same visions and believing the same thing about the end of the world.

Woah! Was not expecting this type storyline at all! At first was little confused but once the pieces started falling into place it felt like traveling to new world. They really went all out with this one and need to just take the thrill of the ride.
