Other Side of the Box

 

Summary: Late one night, a young couple receives a mysterious package from an old friend.

Couple in the kitchen making dinner, everything seems to be a normal night. Next thing know friend is at the door with what appears a gift wrapped in his hands. being let in side and little small talk he ask for him to open the box and only see straight darkness and confusion. His friend leaving and only saying sorry repeatedly rushes out. Finally reading the card that wasn't allowed to be open first, tells them what appears to be rules of this box.

"Can't move if your watching it." "Don't let it leave the house, exactly what it wants" "That's all i could figure out" "I'm sorry'

Trying a flashing and dropping a pencil down to figure out what is going on. Next thing we know there is someone legit inside the box peeking out with only down to under his eyes. Doesn't speak, doesn't move...till they try and look what to find out what could happen. Looking back he now has hands gripping the box like ready to pounce outside of it. 

Leaving his girlfriend alone to watch the box and chase after Sean to find out more of whats going on. Finally getting him to pick up they are both freaking out about whats going on, to find out driving to him when HE was the one needed to keep eyes on it entire time since he was the one given the box!!

Now to race against time and ignoring his friend yet again not to go back at this point, he races home. Lights are out, girlfriend is gone and no box. Moving our way downstairs and assume mimic of the girlfriend voice soon see multiple people standing on the stairs. yet another man in other room trying to turn out the light when not looking. If you're looking at him you can hear the rest of them moving down the stairs towards him. Next second, lights out!

This one was very interesting and had me intrigued! the visuals were nice and felt real, decent storyline for us to follow, creepiness was high up there being unsettling or just wanting to know what going on. I wish we got just little bit more info on the box, origin of it, the beings inside. We start to find out can be passed along and bits of pieces from friend Sean but even he barely knows himself. I believe this could actually be produced into a full on horror film, with a strong storyline structure for this box could really be interesting and super creepy!
