Summary; In a twisted tale of terror, a girl unveils a magical and cursed suitcase to her mother, warning her to resist opening it...little girl brings out a suitcase to play with her mother outside. After being asked to close her eyes she see's her daughter gone, few seconds later begins to hear her voice that can only appear to be coming from the suitcase. Now screaming for help and that she is pain, she makes the choice to go in after her realizing there is a ladder somehow in this suitcase.
I know mother instincts went as soon her daughter in pain but did we not just forget we were questioning how there is such open space reaching her hand inside? how a ladder is sitting inside a suitcase?? ladder?! So she finally makes it down to the end of the ladder that doesn't even fully reach the ground of some kind. She begins to hear another voice saying not to come down that it isn't her daughter. That would be the point i'm climbing my ass back up and getting out of their while i still can.
She decides to jump down of course still trying to receive her daughter. Makes it down to the ground landing in a spotlight circle with everything else around pitch black. We see someone in their own spotlight circle that must've been the other voice warning her. As she tries to head towards her hands and creatures in the darkness begin grabbing after her! Other lady is telling her please stay in the light where we can now assume only safest spot. Although sadly she doesn't last long, her light goes out and we can only hear sounds of what we assume being demolished. Now comes along the voice of the daughter again but she's still outside the suitcase. It is now the mom who is screaming out for help while fighting off these creatures in the darkness, screaming to her daughter for help that she is in here. Seeing the daughter outside and heard from her realize they were only supposed to be playing simple hide n seek game and mom never found her. Soon even forgets all about her as her father calling for her to have some ice cream and runs inside. Suitcase closing shut leaving the mother with all the creatures hiding in the darkness.
This one was defiantly different idea and concept they took, could've been little more creepier with the hands but it worked out. Also works best as a short film because could only be stretched out so far with the actual suitcase itself. I enjoyed how open it kind of leaves it though, answers for ourselves or how we would like to fill in the gaps with our own imagination. It's almost as if were helping out with the story and always interesting experience!
