We're the Millers

Length: 110 minutes Genres: Comedy - Crime

Summary: Small-time pot dealer David learns the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished. Trying to help some teenagers, he is jumped by thugs and loses his cash and stash. Now David's in big debt to his supplier, and to wipe the slate clean, he must go to Mexico to pick up the guy's latest shipment. To accomplish his mission, Dave devises a foolproof plan: he packs a fake family into a huge RV and heads south of the border for a wild weekend that is sure to end with a bang.

Plot Twist?

Gurdlinger misled David, as the marijuana is stolen from cartel boss Pablo Chacon. The next day, when the Millers head to the shop for the RV, Chacon and his henchman One-Eye are waiting for them. As he prepares to kill the Millers, they disclose they are not a real family and did not know they were stealing from him.

Ending:

Don tells David that he and any witnesses of the crime will be placed into witness protection until Gurdlinger and Chacon's trials. Later, the Millers, now under witness protection together, are living in a suburban house with marijuana plants growing in the backyard.

Notes - Thoughts

Fun, messy, raunchy movie. Little over place and sometimes really out there when comes to storyline along the family (rv scene with mother and sister) but what makes it so loose and fun to just follow along their journey. Some scenes really give you good laugh and wholesome moments when connecting with each other.
